Close to Home — Rain Sounds for Sleeping Under a Patio Umbrella

Tonight the little bird has settled in just outside the back door. A big green patio umbrella stands open over the table, and under it, on a wooden chair with a thick folded blanket, the bird is already fast asleep. Rain drums steadily on the canopy right above, and beyond its edge the rain keeps falling through the dark garden. Behind the chair, the window glows warm and the lamp by the door is still on — home is right there, only a step away. 3 hours of rain on an umbrella — no music, no thunder, no interruptions. Safe for anyone who doesn't like thunder: there are no thunder sounds in this video. 🌧 What you'll hear • Rain drumming steadily on the big umbrella right above your head • Soft splashes of rain on the wet patio stones • Drops falling from the edge of the umbrella close by • A faraway hush of rain over the quiet neighbourhood • No wind, no thunder — just steady, even rain all night 🌙 Good for • Falling asleep with the feeling that home is close • Anyone who loves the sound of rain on an umbrella • Masking traffic, neighbours or a restless mind • Reading, studying or unwinding on a rainy evening The first 7 seconds fade in gently so the sound never startles you. Set your volume low — this soundscape is mixed quiet on purpose, like actually sitting under that umbrella while the rain taps overhead. This scene and soundscape were carefully crafted and sound-designed for rest — every raindrop balanced so nothing pulls you back awake. Good night from the little bird under the umbrella. 🐦 Rainpip merch (mugs, tees, blankets & more): https://pouringcalm-shop.fourthwall.com #rainsounds #rainonumbrella #sleep
