In pace, John Sheppard, bass (satb), rehearsal track

First note bass (part 4): a. Range part 4: c-f'. Free sheet music om www.imslp.org, search for no. 63871. This score includes a German language version alongside the original Latin text. Since this track only includes the polyphonic sections and not the plainchant, I left out the repeats. You should of course still perform them. I also made a version where the whole piece is transposed down a major third, which changes the scoring to SAAT; that one is on my channel as well. Lyrics and translation (source: www.cpdl.org): In pace, in idipsum dormiam et requiescam. Si dedero somnum oculis meis, et palpebris meis dormitationem. Gloria Patri, et Filio, et Spiritui Sancto. In peace and into the same I shall sleep and rest. If I give slumber to my eyes and to my eyelids drowsiness, Glory to the Father, and to the Son, and to the Holy Spirit.
