God Is About to Use What You've Been Through to Promote You

Have you ever wondered why God’s favor can sometimes seem to bring pressure, opposition, rejection, or even pain before it brings promotion? In this episode of The Awakening with Alex Irizarry, we look at the life of Joseph and how everything he went through was preparing him for the very position God had already ordained for him. Joseph’s betrayal, slavery, false accusation, prison season, and years of waiting were not wasted. God was developing both his spiritual gift and his natural ability to lead, manage, and bring solutions. Sometimes the season that hurts the most is the very season God is using to sharpen you. You may feel like nothing has changed. You may feel like you’ve been waiting for years. But when the appointed moment comes, God can suddenly use everything you’ve been through and position you exactly where you were meant to be. Favor can create problems before it produces promotion — because sometimes God places you in the middle of a problem when He has already placed the solution inside of you. In this message, we’ll study Joseph’s journey through Genesis 37, 39, 40, and 41 and discover how God uses preparation, adversity, spiritual gifts, wisdom, and faithfulness before promotion. If you’ve been in a long season of preparation, delay, rejection, or hiddenness, this message is for you.
