Dish soap lifts oil. This stopped being oil a long time ago, which is why nothing under your sink has moved it and why you have been blaming your own arm. One dishwasher tablet takes it off, and not the way you think. You do not drop it in and wipe the water around. You soften it for exactly one minute, hold it like a bar of soap, and let the paste sit for five.
