Southern full journey Brighton to Portsmouth Harbour 10/05/2023

Will you miss the Class 313s when they disappear from the Southern network? Onboard 313209 (ex-313009/313109) with 1S20 1200 Southern service from Brighton to Portsmouth Harbour calling at Hove, Aldrington, Portslade, Southwick, Shoreham-by-Sea, Lancing, East Worthing, Worthing, Angmering, Barnham, Chichester, Southbourne, Emsworth, Havant, Fratton, Portsmouth & Southsea and Portsmouth Harbour. I was in Driving Motor carriage 62601 which also has the auxiliaries. The Class 313s were withdrawn on Friday 19th May 2023. 313209 has since been scrapped at Raxstar, Eastleigh Works in August 2023. Short platforms on the West Coastway route to Portsmouth (if its not listed than it fully fits 12 coaches on all platforms (e.g. Shoreham-by-Sea)): Front 4 coaches - Aldrington, Fishersgate, Lancing and East Worthing Front 5 coaches - Goring-by-Sea, Nutbourne, Southbourne and Warblington Front 6 coaches - West Worthing, Durrington-on-Sea, Ford, Fishbourne and Bedhampton Front 7 coaches - Angmering, Bosham and Emsworth Front 8 coaches - Southwick, Hilsea and Fratton Differing platform lengths: Platform 2 at Portslade only fits 7 coaches while Platform 1 fully fits 12 coaches. Platform 3 at Brighton only fits 4 coaches on West Coastway services but fully fits 12 coaches on Brighton Mainline and East Coastway services. The other platforms at Brighton also fit 12 coaches. Platform 4 at Littlehampton only fits 6 coaches while Platform 3 fits 8 coaches and Platforms 2 and 1 fully fit 12 coaches. Platform 4 at Bognor Regis only fits 4 coaches while the others fully fit 12 coaches.
