Cave Diving in Cenote Cocom

Cenote Cocom is regarded as one of the darkest caves in the Yucatan, and a few years ago, I had the opportunity to dive this cenote as a Cave 1 diver. Back then, I reached a point where the pitch-black finally opened up to reveal the true scale of the formations, but I hit my turn pressure and had to go back. I always wanted to see what was beyond that point. Now, I return to Cocom as a Cave 2 diver with my mentor Emőke Wagner.
