DEEP WELL FINE GOLD SLUICE INTRO

This is an introduction video to my Deep Well Sluices. You can find videos on my Deep Well Miller Tables on my channel as well. I live in very fine gold country and I have been searching for the best methods to capture it for a number of years now. I have found that a very smooth water flow is very helpful in capturing it. These sluices and Miller Tables are an interesting design that I came up with in that search that have worked very well for me and my Grandson. These sluices are built on a small scale (8" wide) due to a very low budget but they can be built in any size that an individual would want. I will be trying some larger ones this summer in the 10 - 14 inch class to see how they would work as a beach box or a stream sluice. They can be made as a Drop Riffle sluice or you can build them to use sluice mats like the Vortex mat, Gold Hog mat, Deep V or others. You can also build a basic shell and swap out any of the 3 above mats. This is a very versatile design. I hope these will be of interest to some of you folks who like to build your own equipment.
