TCKC Saturday Night Shootout 2026 Masters Final Partial

It was a fun drive. One of the things that happens in the dark is that you loose your visual markers. I started to look up, and look at the apex, and that helped a lot. This helped me get into, and through turn one well. I'm still struggling with turn 2. I don't think I ever got through it satisfactorily. Turn 7 was a struggle - I was washing out. I think I need to come in a little slower but looking at how fast people in front of me were going through, I wonder if it is something else. I think I drove the rest of the course well. The final start position was the "average" of the positions of the two heats. In the first heat, I was taken out in the first corner. Really pissed me off because there was really no reason for people to be driving the way they were. So, I started the second heat in the back. And was able to finish middle of the pack. Which meant I started the final about 2/3rds of the way back. The video is short because the GoPro cut out again.
