Ahead of Durga Puja, the West Bengal government has extended financial assistance to various Durga Puja committees in Murshidabad. More than 3,000 puja committees under Murshidabad Police District are set to receive government financial support. On Monday, cheques worth ₹1 lakh were handed over to puja committee representatives at the Murshidabad Zilla Parishad Auditorium. The Durga Puja Guide Map was also officially launched during the event. The programme was attended by District Magistrate A. R.
