It is our desire to bring to you the best in gospel music. We feel as you play this L.P., you will know that each one has put his heart in this work. There are many things we feel you would like to know about this wonderful quartet. We will do our best to answer most of your questions. They all are dedicated Christians. It can be said, "All of them belong to the same Church". They belong to the Church of God; however, they sing for many thousands each year in singings, conventions, personal appearances, and on radio programs. This album is given in a spirit of love, in hopes that it will bring you just a little closer to the Lord Jesus Christ. The quartet is interested in the help they can be to you every time that you need to refresh your spirit by listening to good gospel singing. Each one in his own way contributes something to make this one of the most spiritual quartets in our nation. I would like to take this opportunity to introduce the quartet, beginning from left to right standing. First is the baritone Mr. Hugh M. Lewis. Mr. Lewis is the youngest member of this quartet; however, it takes his voice to balance out this wonderful group. Singing the lead is Mr. Ernel Pendergrass, who has been singing with this quartet for seventeen years. Singing the alto is Mrs. Grace Selvage. Mrs. Selvage has been a Christian since she was twelve years old, and she enjoys gospel singings and working for the Lord. Mr. Sol Hall sings bass for the quartet. Mr. Hall has been singing for about thirty-five years with different quartets. His last album was entitled, "The River Of Life". Pianist is Mrs. Jackie Burnett; she has been with the quartet for about one and one-half years. The quartet enjoys her playing very much and hopes that she is a blessing to you as you listen to this album.
