Later that same day in Lost Heaven...
Part two of the WJSV September 21, 1939 broadcast. In case you missed part one, less than 3 weeks after start of World War II in Europe and while the New York World's Fair was showcasing the future, the Washington, D.C. CBS affiliate radio station WJSV simultaneously broadcast and recorded its entire 19-hour broadcast day from sign-on to sign-off in order to preserve a snapshot of the Golden Age of Radio and President Roosevelt’s address to Congress. The result was a valuable time capsule of every pop and crackle, station break, and technical difficulty, along side the news, music, comedy, drama, ads, and commentary, all as it originally aired. Presented here is the second half of the complete OTR broadcast day paired with HD stationary gameplay from Mafia: The Definitive Edition for studying, working, sleeping, relaxing, feeling nostalgic, and enjoying this historical slice of life from the era that defined the Greatest Generation in the U.S.
