How bad can it get for women living on the streets of Skid Row? No statistics can tell you what life here really feels like. So I asked the women themselves. If you want to see more of these raw and unexpected human stories, consider subscribing to the channel:    / @mangomondo   In this travel documentary, I walk through Skid Row in Downtown Los Angeles, where an estimated 4,000 homeless people live on the streets—around 1,100 of them are women. To understand their reality, I talk directly with the women who survive here every day. They open up about life-threatening situations, dealing with unpredictable violence, hygiene struggles, the dark reality of fentanyl addiction, and the incredible resilience it takes to get through another day as a woman on the street. This video is part of our documentary series "LOS ANGELES BEYOND HOLLYWOOD", where we look past the tourist attractions of California to find the raw, untold realities of the city.
