"All decisions regarding the SIR were taken unanimously," the Election Commission of India stated in an affidavit submitted to the Supreme Court. The Commission further informed the apex court that "no changes have been made to Form 6 either." This response comes in light of a writ petition filed by advocate Rakesh Singh, following the Supreme Court's request for the Commission's stance on the matter. The case is scheduled for a hearing on Tuesday before a bench led by the Chief Justice. #SIRControversy #ElectionCommission #ElectionCommissionOfIndia #SupremeCourt #SupremeCourtOfIndia n18oc_national ID_AD News 18 Bangla is an exclusive news channel on YouTube which streams news related to West Bengal, Nation and the World.
