Frequency Analysis of BABYMETAL's Brand New Day feat. Tim Henson and Scott LePage

Having previously discussed the frequency characteristics of "Sunset Kiss," this time I’m looking at "Brand New Day"—another track with a Polyphia connection. SU-METAL’s voice is rich in strong integer harmonics, meaning the phases align; this alignment allows the waveform peaks and troughs to reinforce each other, resulting in high energy efficiency—like a laser—and a powerful vocal attack. Then there’s the "alright" part in the falsetto, where all three members join in for the chorus—or rather, to use KOBAMETAL’s terminology, the "choir." Because their voices have such high correlation, the integer harmonics blend beautifully without any dissonance.
