로마 포로 로마노에 서 있는 티투스 개선문. 그 안쪽 벽에는 로마 병사들이 예루살렘 성전의 메노라를 어깨에 메고 가는 장면이 새겨져 있습니다. 그리고 복원된 헌정 비문에 따르면, 콜로세움은 바로 그 전쟁의 전리품으로 지어졌습니다. 시즌 1 '예루살렘 3000년'의 두 번째 이야기입니다. 헬레니즘과의 충돌, 마카베오 반란과 하누카, 하스몬 왕조의 독립과 몰락, 폼페이우스의 개입, 헤롯 대왕의 성전 증축, 제1차 유대-로마 전쟁과 서기 70년의 성전 파괴, 마사다, 그리고 바르 코크바 반란과 하드리아누스의 아일리아 카피톨리나까지 다룹니다. 이 편의 핵심은 하나의 통념을 바로잡는 데 있습니다.
