This reproduction of a Philadelphia Chippendale tripod piecrust tea table has a shaped and dished piecrust edge top that turns and tilts above a bird-cage support over a turned support over a tripartite base with carved knees and ball and claw feet with the claws carved under. There is a pinned wedge that goes through the spidle that allows it to spin but not come off without removing the pin. It is made from cherry. Canadian.
