The Beginning Of My End - Unifics - 1968

The Unifics were formed in 1966 at Washington, D.C.'s Howard University. Signed to the Kapp label in 1968, they scored a huge hit right out of the gate with, Court Of Love. The Beginning Of My End, was their second biggest selling record, peaking at #13 on the Cash Box chart, week ending 2/8/69. The Unifics had a loyal following up and down the east coast and were regarded as a great live touring act, dressed to the nines with their signature white gloves, and their stage show incorporated lots of strobe lighting and special effects, unusual for the late 60's soul scene.
