Jon Ossoff Slams Mike Collins For ‘Devotion’ To Trump | Georgia Senate | Midterms | N18G

The 2026 US Midterms battle heats up in Georgia as Democratic Senator Jon Ossoff takes aim at Republican challenger Mike Collins over his support for President Donald Trump. During their first televised Senate debate on October 8, Ossoff accused Collins of showing “childlike devotion” to Trump, linking his voting record to tariffs, healthcare cuts and the war in Iran. Collins rejected Ossoff’s attacks and defended his positions, while accusing the incumbent senator of being too liberal and out of touch with Georgia. The candidates also clashed over inflation, immigration, election security and allegations concerning links to white nationalists, which Collins has disputed.
