Mother deported during green card interview in Sacramento

A Natomas mother who has lived in the United States for more than 25 years was deported last week after attending a green card interview at the John Moss Federal Building in downtown Sacramento. Maria de Jesus Estrada Juarez, a longtime DACA recipient, was sponsored for lawful permanent resident status by her 22-year-old daughter, Damaris Bello, a U.S. citizen.
