Here comes the sea! Momo, Bobo and Dot walk onto a beach for the very first time and find that the sand is perfect for building. Each of them pats up a tower of sand of their own, and together the three towers make a castle. But the sea has other ideas. A first small wave rolls further up the sand than the last one did. Then the water keeps coming - so the friends pat more sand on top, as fast as they can, and their towers grow taller and taller. The big wave surges up the beach, the water sweeps right up and around the sand the castle stands on... and stops, just short of the friends. The towers are still standing! And then, slowly, the sea turns around and goes back out, leaving the castle sitting on wet, shiny sand. A warm, wordless clay story about cause and effect - the sea comes in, and the sea goes back out - told with a beach, a rising tide and a sandcastle. Every step lands on a soft wooden "da-da-da", so children can hear the rhythm of the walking, and every pat of sand lands with a soft thud. No dialogue at all, so children who are not talking yet can follow the whole thing.
