Christian Worship Songs About Freedom

If the Son sets you free, you are free indeed. Not almost free. Not halfway out. Free indeed. Fifteen songs of freedom and deliverance across Scripture, built in Christian Reggae and Gospel Reggae, one-drop roots, rockers, rocksteady, ska, and lovers rock. From the woman set free by the Son, to the exiles who came home like people in a dream, to the traveler lifting his eyes to the hills for help, this collection moves through every angle Scripture gives us on what it means to actually be free. This is Christian Reggae, distinct from Rastafarian religious language and imagery. The sound, the rhythm, the groove, is used in full. The words stay anchored entirely in the Word. Reggae was born out of testimony under hardship, and that history makes it one of the most honest musical vehicles available for gospel joy, joy that has survived something, not joy that has never been tested. Put this on. Let it play. Watch what happens to the atmosphere in your house.
