Morning Prayer to Start Your Day With God | Ask God to Cover You Throughout This Day

Start your day with God and place every hour ahead of you into His hands. This morning prayer is for anyone who wants to begin the day under God’s care, seeking His presence, protection, guidance, wisdom, and peace throughout the day. Before you step into work, responsibilities, conversations, decisions, travel, or anything else waiting for you today, take a few moments to pray and remember that you do not have to face this day alone. Ask God to go with you wherever you go. Ask Him to protect you and the people you love, guard your mind from unnecessary fear, give you wisdom when decisions become difficult, and keep your heart anchored in His presence. If you woke up carrying uncertainty, anxiety, disappointment, or a situation you cannot control, bring it to God this morning. You do not have to know everything that today will bring. God already sees the entire day. This prayer is also for those who simply desire to become closer to God and make Him the center of their day. “Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge Him, and He will make your paths straight.” — Proverbs 3:5–6 As you listen, allow yourself to slow down and place your day before God. May this morning prayer help you begin today with greater peace, confidence, and awareness of God’s presence. 🙏 Pray this prayer before you start your day. 🙏 Give God your plans, worries, decisions, and responsibilities. 🙏 Ask Him to cover you throughout every hour of today. 🙏 Trust Him with what you know and what you cannot see.
