June 30, 2026 After the train had worked in the industry at Santa Nella, they continued South to here arriving at Morning Star to switch some boxcars out. This was the last catch of this chase. Morning Star is usually a hours of work customer for the CFNR just like the one in Williams so this is where I ended my chase. I wish I would have enough time to see if they still run to the end of the line in Downtown Los Banos as there is one customer but at the same time I'm not sure they always go that way to stay and watch them work Morning Star unfortunately. California Northern Railroad Genesee Wyoming Shortline Los Banos Job Local freight train southbound on the CFNR West Side Line passes through the Ingomar Grade Railroad Crossing (Volta Road) in Los Banos, California. This crossing features an SP early 90s signal likely installed before the CFNR acquired this line and a new signal installed recently likely a knock down replacement.
