The flight only takes 1.5 hours one way, and we're returning to HK on the same day. Next up is a long layover in Shanghai, which sees me meet up with my friend for a long lunch in a trendy restaurant that serves up Mediterranean-Asian cuisine. We also hide in a cozy cafe with intriguing interior design and cute details. Then we head to Perth, the highlight of the month, as we'll visit an art exhibition called Sculpture by the Sea at Cottesloe Beach. In its 21 years, the iconic outdoor gallery showcases 70 art pieces by local and international artists. Our last destination is Melbourne, with a mere 24-hour layover.
