Get into your bathroom and look at your shower or bathtub.
Now look closely at the glass, the walls, and the tub surface.
See those water spots, soap marks, and cloudy areas that never seem to disappear?
You clean them.
Then a few days later, they're back.
But what if you didn't need to spend an hour scrubbing?
In this video, I'll show you the simple 60-second shower cleaning method my mother taught me — a quick routine designed to keep your shower looking cleaner without turning it into a deep-cleaning project.
THE METHOD:
Start with the right cleaner for your shower surface and follow its label directions. Work on a small section at a time rather than spraying everything at once.
Apply the product where needed, give it the recommended contact time, then wipe the surface with a clean microfiber cloth.
For glass, work from top to bottom and make sure you remove the remaining moisture and cleaner.
Then use a squeegee or dry microfiber cloth to finish the surface.
The goal isn't to scrub harder.
It's to clean efficiently and remove the moisture before it has a chance to leave more spots.
THREE THINGS MATTER:
Use the correct product for your surface.
Don't let cleaning products sit longer than their label recommends.
And always finish by removing excess water and moisture.
A WORD FROM LINDA:
This isn't a universal method for every bathroom surface.
Glass, tile, acrylic, natural stone, chrome, and specialty finishes can require different cleaning products and techniques.
Always check the manufacturer's instructions and test a new product in a small hidden area first.
And never mix cleaning products, especially products containing bleach with acids or ammonia.
TONIGHT'S TEST:
Don't deep-clean the entire bathroom.
Just choose one small section of your shower glass.
Clean it using the proper method.
Wipe it completely dry.
Then look at the difference.
If you have a squeegee, try making one final pass across the glass.
And tell me in the comments:
How long does it normally take you to clean your shower?
And did your mother or grandmother ever teach you a quick cleaning trick?
