Kouga Municipality | Launch of the Battery Energy Storage System

The Kouga Municipality officially launches its Battery Energy Storage System. The project marks a first of its kind for a municipality in South Africa. It was developed in response to growing electricity demand in St Francis Bay and repeated overdraw of the town's Notified Maximum Demand (NMD) from Eskom.
