Imran Khan supporters arrive to Peshawar on their march to Pakistani capital

Supporters of Pakistan’s jailed former Prime Minister Imran Khan reached Peshawar on Thursday as they continued their long march demanding his release. Led by Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Sohail Afridi, the march began on Sunday from Lakki Marwat and reached Peshawar on its fifth day, with the convoy expected to continue to Charsadda. Afridi said he would announce the march’s next course of action there. Pakistan’s Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi said the government would not permit the marchers to enter Islamabad, warning against disruption in the capital. Naqvi also said talks with Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf had collapsed over the party’s alleged refusal to cooperate on a counterterrorism policy for Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, a charge denied by the party. #Pakistan #ImranKhan #PTI #SohailAfridi #Peshawar #Islamabad #MohsinNaqvi #KhyberPakhtunkhwa #PakistanPolitics #LongMarch Subscribe to SouthAsia Newsline ► https://bit.ly/3pmDSR3 Don't forget to press THE BELL ICON to never miss any updates ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Enjoy and stay connected with us!! ☛ Visit our Official website: http://www.southasianewsline.com/ ☛ Subscribe us: https://bit.ly/3pmDSR3 ☛ Follow us:   / sasianewsline   ☛ Like us:   / southasianewsline   ☛ Official channel of South Asia Newsline - a weekday newscast ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- South Asia Newsline, India News, Pakistan News, Afghanistan News, Bangladesh News, Nepal News, Sri Lanka News, South Asia Weekday Bulletin, English News Bullletin
