Today I’m exploring a huge liquid-storage facility in Hull, where dozens of tanks and silos hold everything from food products to oils used by the motor and pharmaceutical industries. After chatting with the tanker drivers and learning how the liquids are unloaded, I sent the drone up for a closer look. That brought a few more workers outside—but the conversation took a very unexpected and friendly turn! We discussed drone laws, tanker operations, public weighbridges and even the possibility of using my aerial footage for their website.
