Tagaytay is our top-of-mind destination for short or impromptu getaways. It's incredibly accommodating to pets, from dining to lodging. Plus, it's just 1.5 hours away from Metro Manila. It's a great place for sightseeing, dining, and enjoying the cooler weather. Finding open, walkable green spaces can be a challenge, though. Public parks, while expansive, often have limited well-maintained lawns. In our experience, walking a dog in Tagaytay usually means dining in restaurants with gardens that are often small. We end up visiting multiple restaurants so Gnocchi can explore, which means we have to eat at every stop! Because we only have a few favorite spots, we're going on a hunt for new locations where we can walk Gnocchi. Hoping to add fresh spots to our rotation.
