Some sites make reliability matter more.☀️ In Joroinen, Finland, the Hallanvahti solar project is located on around 190 hectares of peatland. Developed by Taaleri Energia, with Eltel as the main contractor and Tongwei Solar supplying TNC 2.0 modules, the 130 MW project is being developed on a site where both construction and long-term operation demand careful consideration. The peat is soft, water-rich and several metres deep in places. Wet summers can restrict access, while frozen ground provides an important window for heavy construction. ❄️ Where access for maintenance is not always straightforward, module reliability becomes a fundamental part of the project’s long-term performance. This is where TNC 2.0 brings value beyond rated power. Its reliability supports long-term operation through Finland’s cold, wet and snowy conditions, while its strong bifacial performance makes better use of irradiance reaching the rear side of the module. Combined with its weak-light response, TNC 2.0 is designed to work with the distinctive light conditions of the Finnish climate throughout the year. 🔆 Today, the 130 MW project is turning those site challenges into tangible results — generating around 140 GWh of electricity each year, enough to supply approximately 18,000 households. ⚡ For Tongwei, this is where product performance really matters: understanding the conditions, building for them, and delivering reliable generation over the long term.
