Making the Fusible Plug | Live Steam Garden Railway Loco Building | Copper Boiler Building

A fusible plug is a boiler safety device, not often used on copper boilers now but may be useful if I use soft soldered boiler stays. This is for Charles' boiler, very similar to the one fitted in my Quarry Hunslet. The bush at the top of the firebox strengthens the flat roof enough to avoid needing a stay.
