What Happens When You Feed Birds Through the Winter Every Day

Feed birds through the winter every day and you will notice the same few birds already lined up on the fence rail before you've even opened the seed bin. Those birds are telling you more than they're hungry, and this video explains what that behavior means for the birds in your own backyard. This countdown runs from number seven to number one and covers how backyard birds learn your feeding clock, return to the same spots day after day, sort themselves into a pecking order, and get through hard cold with a little help. Each point looks at what you can see at the window and the feeder and what it means for the birds that stay with you all winter. 0:00 Intro 2:08 Part 2 4:16 Part 3 6:24 Part 4 8:32 Part 5 10:41 Part 6 12:49 Part 7 14:57 Part 8 Have you noticed the same birds showing up at your feeder at the same time every morning?
