INARI NO MIKO — 稲荷の巫女 | Dark Japanese Ambient for Deep Sleep & Quiet Nights

INARI NO MIKO 稲荷の巫女 - dark Japanese ambient for deep sleep and quiet nights. Slow, ink-white music for sleep, meditation, reading and gentle focus. THE LEGEND Inari is the Shinto kami of rice, harvest and prosperity, and foxes are her messengers. At the great shrine of Fushimi Inari near Kyoto, thousands of vermilion torii gates climb the mountain, and stone foxes guard the paths, often holding a key, a jewel or a sheaf of rice in their mouths. A white fox is considered an especially auspicious sign. This mix imagines a shrine maiden in white silk with golden tassels in her hair, walking the mountain stair at night while a white fox with amber eyes follows at her shoulder, and a red sun refuses to set.
