BIYB in Gibraltar to Celebrate National Day 2026

It has been an absolute honour and privilege for the Brentwood Imperial Youth Band to be involved in the Gibraltar National Day celebrations and to share a little British Military Music pomp and ceremony with the people of #Gibraltar. Our utmost thanks go to Lt Col John Pitto MBE, Commanding Officer of The Royal Gibraltar Regiment RG, for so warmly hosting us. Thank you also to Seamus Byrne and the team at Gibraltar Cultural Services for giving us the opportunity to showcase our music and be part of such a special occasion. And a very special thank you to WO1 (BM) Andee Birkett The Royal Corps of Army Music Bandmaster, The Band and Corps of Drums of the Royal Gibraltar Regiment, for the invitation, her incredible tenacity and for helping create such a wonderful and unique few days for us all. It has been a truly memorable experience, and we’ve loved every minute, and we don't leave till tomorrow! Happy Gibraltar National Day 🇬🇮
