Today I finally got to fire up my Vevor smelting furnace for the first time. I assembled the furnace and then added refractory cement to the inside of all surfaces. Then I fired up the furnace and got the crucible to red hot in order to temper it before I use it properly for melting metals. If you missed the first video, watch here:    • Starting The Greenhouse And Something Awes...   I plan to melt aluminum next time in this furnace and make ingots and coins for sale and gifts. Later I will get another crucible for copper and smelt some ore I got from the mines in Michigan. Then I will make some jewelry and coins from the copper. Thanks for watching.
