Aircraft Leasing - Panel 3 - EASA ASC 2019 Airline operational safety: a vision for the future

The use of arrangements to allow aircraft to be shared between different operators under wet or dry-lease agreements is a common practice. This panel addresses the challenges faced by the Industry and Authorities in leasing operations and, in particular: identification of showstoppers, sharing of information amongst involved stakehoders, and how Authorities can be satisfied to fulfil their oversight obligations.
