How to re-tension the parking brake spring on a Jeep Grand Cherokee WJ (99-04)

If your parking brake cable has snapped, there's a strong chance you'll need to re-tension the spring as part of the repair. There are some excellent videos out there that show you how to change the cable, but not how to re-tension the spring. It's actually pretty easy once you know how!
