NTxCEG member Paul Westbrook will cover some Solar Basics to equip you with the information you need to help separate the good installers from the bad. He has served as an expert witness for a local Dallas law firm and has analyzed the data and written reports for 56 cases of possible solar fraud. He will share what he has learned about the loan companies and fly-by-night installers who give solar a bad name. About the Speaker After receiving his BS in Mechanical Engineering from LSU, Paul Westbrook worked at Texas Instruments, Inc. in Dallas. He led the successful effort to build the first LEED Gold semiconductor facility in the world – a facility that improved energy efficiency by 41%. Then, he worked with all existing facilities worldwide and doubled global energy efficiency in just 9 years. Paul served for two years as a Senior Fellow for the US State Department’s Energy & Climate Partnership for the Americas. He is a LEED Accredited Professional.
