Mount Nystrom (12,652') Trail, Vasquez Peak Wilderness and Fraser Experimental Forest, Colorado

It continues along the ridge between the Vasquez Peak Wilderness and the Fraser Experimental Forest, including high point 12,763, with views into the Byers Peak Wilderness. Nearly the entire route is between 12,000 and 13,000 feet elevation. Trip to Mount Nystrom and back: 6.1 miles and 1,263 feet gain.
