BACKPACKING WITH NO EXPERIENCE | LAKE ALOHA

Two days of camping and backpacking in South Lake Tahoe. Apologies for the sniffling I either had a cold or really bad allergies. The first night I stayed at Fallen Leaf Campground, visited Kiva Beach, Fallen Leaf Lake, and cooked elk steak fajitas before hiking to Lake Aloha the next day. 12 miles round-trip with 2000 feet of elevation gain for my second ever backpacking trip. It was a great test and I look forward to more adventures ahead.
