On To The Next

I always knew I wanted to create a finale for my time at UC Irvine through a short film, but didn’t know how. As my last quarter and time to move out was approaching, I began to think of different ideas. I’ve always thought about this idea that the places, people, and events we experience in life always live on like a memory. Applying that to my situation, I imagined a ghost version of me that will always live on and occupy the space of the Irvine apartment forever. That’s where I got to work. "On To The Next" tells the story of my present day self looking back, while my past self looks ahead and are able to occupy the same space. A lot of time, dedication, and effort went into this production and I hope you’ll find the time to enjoy what we have made for you. I love this project. I love the cast, crew, friends, family, and even Ghost Matthew, who are the core of this story and time in my life.
