The Perfect Day at Animal Kingdom | Shows, Safari, Yak & Yeti Meal | Oliver's First Big Coaster!

Today, we’re heading into Disney’s Animal Kingdom for a day that was the perfect mix of thrills and total relaxation, with some incredible food too! ​The highlight of the day? Oliver finally braved Expedition Everest! Not only did he ride his first "big" roller coaster, but he loved it so much we had to go back for a second trek through the forbidden mountain. ​We also took it slow to enjoy the world-class entertainment Animal Kingdom offers, including the Festival of the Lion King, Finding Nemo: The Big Blue... and Beyond!, and the brand-new Zootopia show inside the Tree of Life. ​To top it all off, we had a "first" for the parents: dinner at Yak & Yeti Restaurant.
