This is a 40-minute no-commentary drive through Canmore, Alberta, filmed in June. Canmore sits just outside Banff National Park in the Canadian Rockies. This drive gives you a ground-level look at the town, from Main Street and Bow Valley Trail to residential areas including Spring Creek, Larch, South Canmore and Eagle Terrace. No narration and no music. Just Canmore as it looks from the road. What to know before you go: June is early summer in Canmore. The town is generally quieter than during the busiest July and August period, while snow can still be visible on the higher peaks. Main Street, also known as 8th Street, is the heart of downtown Canmore. Bow Valley Trail is another major route through town, with hotels, restaurants, shops and services along the way. Canmore is around 20 minutes east of Banff by car via the Trans-Canada Highway, making it an easy base for exploring the Canadian Rockies.
