I bought this house without ever seeing it — and the previous owners left everything behind, as if they walked out one day and never came back. No electricity. No people. Just dust, silence and a house frozen somewhere around 2017. I open the first cupboard and it's already full — mismatched cups, a plain saucer, a little painting that spent years covering half a shelf. Two potato mashers instead of one, and I still don't know why anyone needed two. A suitcase that looked like a real find until I opened it: only children's clothes and a single Christmas ornament inside.
