OUR FIRST DA MEET! Turning up WITHOUT a booking...Would you?!

🚐 OUR FIRST DA MEET… WITH NO BOOKING?! 😳 We usually book our caravan sites in advance, so the idea of hitching up and turning up to a meet without a booking was a little nerve-wracking! But we decided to step outside our comfort zone and give our first DA meet a go. Come along with us for a full weekend of family caravanning, new experiences, lovely people and plenty of fun! ❤️ From hitching up and travelling to the meet, getting set up and making dinner, to Craig's Aldi shopping haul, there's lots of real-life caravan life in this one! We also head out for a day in Ripon, enjoy lunch together, get creative with some Halloween crafts, and have an impromptu kids' fancy dress moment using whatever we could find in the caravan! The kids even win prizes for their costumes! There's bingo in the function room, brilliant live music from the Third Time Lucky Band, and a very windy night thanks to Storm Boleo! 🌬️ We take a slow, lazy Sunday morning while we wait for the wind to die down before hitching up and heading home. But what did we think of our first DA meet? The stewards and everyone attending were so friendly and welcoming, and we had a wonderfully relaxed weekend that was still full of fun. We'd definitely consider going to another DA meet in the future! 🥰 Now it's time to get home, turn the caravan around and get ready for our next adventure… HALLOWEEN! 🎃🚐 💬 WE WANT TO KNOW!
