The Saint-Pierre-la-Cour plant, a pillar of the ecological transition in the Grand-Ouest regionin France, favors the circular economy by replacing fossil fuels with biomass and local waste. This site, the largest in France, produces ECOPlanet low-carbon cements through the integration of activated clays, thus meeting the requirements of the RE2020 standard. This industrial transformation also includes the Capt4Climate project (GOCO2 network) for CO2 capture, aiming for "Near Zero" cements by 2031.
