1970's Otis elevator, modernised by Kone, @ Lyon, FR

Brand : Otis Model : called "Prelexan" or "Black buttons" Year buildt : 1970's Capacity : 300kg 4 Persons Floors served : 7 Travel Speed : 0,6 m/s This Otis elevator was maybe modernised for the first time in the 2000's, Kone have done a modernisation with Octé Verso controller and Vega fixtures. Since there is an Otis Gen2 installed in 2011 a few meters away, I don't think this elevator is really useful for public, it's probably why they didn't modernised it with real Kone products, because they wanted something for less expensive for that kind of use. Important notes : • I don't tell the exact elevators locations on my YouTube videos, please don't comment the exact locations where I filmed them. • As an elevator technician, I may publish some elevators videos with machine-room tours, because of seeing elevators machine-rooms videos doesn't gives you the required knowledge and autorisations to enter any elevator machine-room. If you're a non-technician or non-professionnal elevator enthusiast, don't ever enter a machine-room. Being an elevator enthusiast doesn't gives you spécial permissions.
