Rockway School (Abandoned)

Exploring the now abandoned Rockway School located on the National Road US Route 40 near Springfield, Ohio. Present day building was built in 1930 following a fire that destroyed the previous building in 1929 which was built in 1911, the basement is the only thing that remains of this building, used in the current building today. The second attached building via an underground tunnel was added in 1957. Everything you see today was closed after the new elementary/middle school was built on the Shawnee high school property in 2021.
