Welcome to our Saturday 4PM Service. We are glad you could join us for today’s time of worship!  Join us for Week 3 of our series The Cross: The Roman Centurion.  Pilate’s soldiers mocked Jesus by placing a crown of thorns on His head, knowing He called Himself “King of the Jews.” A Roman centurion, overseeing the event, witnessed Jesus’ remarkable response: instead of cursing His executioners, He forgave them. The centurion also witnessed astonishing signs—darkened sunlight, an earthquake, rocks splitting, and tombs opening—revealing God’s power at Jesus’ death.  How did the centurion respond to the events of the crucifixion and death of Jesus, and how can his response apply to us?
