play pretend (Official Lyric Video)

Play Pretend — Official Lyric Video This one’s for the dolls that learned how to pull their own strings. Play Pretend is about becoming exactly what someone wants you to be. The ribbons. The perfect dress. The quiet little smile. Every word rehearsed, every movement calculated, every tiny detail designed to make someone believe they know exactly who you are. At first, she seems obedient. Sweet. Quiet. Perfect. Maybe a little too perfect. This track blends dark doll-pop, alternative pop, warped music-box melodies, mechanical wind-up sounds, deep crawling bass, haunting female harmonies, and delicate toy-like textures into something pretty enough to hide what’s underneath. Wind her up. Fix her bow. Tell her when to smile. She’ll play along. But somewhere between the clicking of the music box and the tightening of the strings, something changes. Because she was listening. She was learning. And while you were busy teaching her how to behave... she was learning exactly how to control you. Maybe you dressed the doll. Maybe you chose the strings. But that doesn’t mean you were the one pulling them. Some dolls break when you play with them. Some learn how you play. — DarkSoundzzz production #playpretend #DarkSoundzzz #DarkPop #DollPop #DarkDollPop #CreepyPop #AlternativePop #AltPop #ArtPop #GothicPop #GothPop #ExperimentalPop #IndustrialPop #DarkAlternative #DarkMusic #HauntingMusic #CreepyMusic #EerieMusic #UnsettlingMusic #CinematicPop #AtmosphericPop #FemaleVocals #HauntingVocals #EtherealVocals #DollVoice #DollVocals #SweetVocals #MusicBox #CreepyMusicBox #MusicBoxAesthetic #WindUpDoll #WindUpDollAesthetic #CreepyDoll #PorcelainDoll #Dollcore #DollcoreAesthetic #DarkDollAesthetic #DollAesthetic #DarkFeminine #DarkFeminineAesthetic #CoquetteGoth #DarkCoquette #GothicAesthetic #CreepyCute #CuteHorror #PrettyHorror #HorrorPop #PsychologicalHorror #PsychologicalThriller #Uncanny #UncannyValley #UncannyAesthetic #Dreamcore #Weirdcore #SurrealAesthetic #DarkFantasy #HauntedDoll #TwistedFairytale #EerieAesthetic #HorrorAesthetic #CinematicMusic #AtmosphericMusic #DeepBass #DarkSynth #HauntingMelody #Storytelling #StorytellingMusic #PlotTwist #TwistEnding #OriginalSong #OriginalMusic #OriginalArtist #IndependentArtist #IndieArtist #IndieMusic #NewMusic #NewSong #OfficialLyricVideo #LyricVideo #OriginalLyrics #Songwriter #MusicDiscovery #DiscoverNewMusic #UnderratedMusic #UpcomingArtist #NewArtist #NewMusic2026 #Music2026
